Metta Constellation™ was created to help us slow down long enough to notice the patterns, relationships, and moments that quietly shape who we are becoming.

It isn't about predicting the future.

It's about recognizing yourself.

Yes, I was really born with the name Metta

Throughout my life, people have asked me that. A lot.

As a kid, it was hard having to say my name several times, spell it often, and never find it on keychains at convenience stores. In my adulthood, though, I enjoyed discovering that my name, Metta, was more than a unique name passed down through my family tree.

Metta is the Pāli word for loving-kindness and names a meditation practice of extending compassion—to strangers, to those we love, and to ourselves.

Somehow, it described the work I had already spent my life doing.

It was one of those key moments when I stepped back far enough to see how the stars of my own life connected into a constellation. The meaning had been there all along. I simply couldn't see it until I had lived far enough into my own story.

What is Metta Constellation™?

A Creative Companion

Metta Constellation™ is more than a deck of cards. It is a relational field of images, language, and reflection designed to help you notice what has always been present but may have gone unseen.

Each card becomes a doorway into curiosity rather than certainty. Some illuminate what is ready to emerge. Others invite you stay with what is already unfolding.

The cards are meant to be returned to again and again. As your life changes, their meaning changes with you.

HOW it began

From Conversations to Cards to Constellations

After decades as a psychotherapist, I noticed something remarkable.

Transformation rarely came from finding the perfect answer. More often, it emerged through simple moments of recognition—a photograph, a conversation, a memory, a dream, a pause.

Over time these moments began forming a constellation.

Metta Constellation™ grew from those observations and from the privilege of witnessing thousands of people remember their own wisdom.

Early Encounters with The Constellation

The Metta Constellation™ is meant to be encountered, not interpreted by formula.

A card—or a relationship between cards—may illuminate something already moving within you. The same drawing can speak differently to another person, or even to you at another moment.

An early reader drew these cards together and immediately recognized something unfolding in her own life—a strong pull toward a project she cared deeply about, alongside the pulse of uncertainty about where it might lead.

When she shared her drawing with me, something else happened:

The Pull and The Pulse spoke directly to my own journey of creating the Metta Constellation—following what kept calling me forward while listening for what felt alive, true, and ready to become.

That is part of the invitation of this oracle: Not to tell you what your life means.

To offer something you can enter into relationship with—and notice what becomes visible from there.
